Harry Schechter

Harry Schechter specializes in creating unique, innovative, and reliable technology. His greatest talent lies in formulating creative solutions on which businesses are built. Harry honed his leadership and technology skills for 10 years as co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Doceus, Inc. ranked as one of TechWay Magazine's 50 fastest growing companies in Washington, DC. With nearly 50 employees, Harry and his teams spearheaded projects for major area non-profits such as the American Diabetes Association, Greater Washington Board of Trade, National Park Foundation as well as local businesses such as Discovery Communications, L-3 Communications, Zurich Insurance and others.

After selling Doceus in 2005, Harry joined forces with inventor Scott MacLean at Time Trax Technologies Corporation, manufacturer of satellite radio-to-MP3 recording products. Most recently, Harry served as Senior Vice-President of Technology Management for Anybill Financial Services where he led the strategic technology vision for systems that support big 4 accounting firms.

Harry's technology leadership and sense of adventure are rounded out by travels to over 30 countries on five continents. Several of his semi-professional photographs have been published in National Geographic Traveler Magazine. He's jumped out of a perfectly good airplane (twice), been nominated for a GRAMMY as part of the Washington Men's Camerata, raced up the Nile River, Karaoked in Shenzhen, China, and zip lined 200 feet above the rainforest floor in Costa Rica.

A regular volunteer with local area non-profits, Harry's companies have received awards from Washington Business Journal and recognition in the Washington Post for outstanding community service. By the same token, Harry believes in preserving the planet. His innovative electronics reclamation program for Temperature@lert has already saved countless contaminants from ending up in our soil and water supply.

Harry is a regular volunteer at Greater DC Cares, a member of the Chief Technology Officer's Roundtable and sings in the bass section of the Washington Men's Camerata where he serves as the group's Fundraising Chair. Harry received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science from Miami University in Oxford, OH and a Master of Business Administration from MIT where he was a Sloan Fellow.
